Spearfish Rifle and Trap Club COVID-19 Update
April 8, 2020
At this time, Spearfish and Rifle Trap Club (SRTC) remains open to members and is taking proactive steps to help reduce the possibility of community spread of the COVID-19 virus.
OUR GOAL IS TO KEEP THE SRTC OPEN. WE CAN ONLY CONTINUE TO DO THIS IF EVERYONE FOLLOWS SOCIAL DISTANCING and CDC HYGIENE GUIDELINES.
Current proactive measures include:
• Reduce or modify gatherings of 10 people or more when separation of at least 6 feet is not possible.
• Strong recommendation/requirement that members follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines relating to COVID-19 precautions, related South Dakota Executive Orders, and City of Spearfish ordinances.
• All SRTC meetings are canceled through April 30 (may be extended).
• Printed flyers concerning COVID-19 may be posted at the range and/or trap club. Please read and heed.
• League trap shooting has been suspended.
• Clubhouse at trap range is closed.
• Microphone stands at the trap club are wiped down prior to use and after set up. Shooters are asked to avoid handling or move them.
• Hand sanitizer may be available at some areas, however shooters are asked to follow recommended practices on the South Dakota Department of Health website at www.covid.sd.gov and carry their own disinfecting wipes and/or hand sanitizer
• Shooters are instructed to stay at home if they have a fever, cough, don’t feel well, or suspect they have been exposed to COVID-19.
Thank you for following these guidelines and helping us keep the SRTC open.
